Torsten Scholz, aka Totze Trippi or simply Totze, has been the new guy—or rather, the bassist - for the past 28 (!) years with the Berlin alternative rock and punk institution Beatsteaks (that’s what people say). They stand for energy, attitude, and a love of good music - which, strictly speaking, is exactly what rock music is all about. And that’s exactly what’s bringing him to the DJ booth - or behind any table with DJ gear - right now. With the rock music set you can expect, don’t anticipate a typical club night - instead, get ready for a real blast. Rock music delivers. Totze plays whatever he likes. And since he’s been doing this longer than he’s been playing bass for the Beatsteaks, nothing can really go wrong. Photo: Cécile Ash
